About Us
The Dazzlers are the award winning dance team for Byron Nelson High School, established in 2009 to promote school spirit and sportsmanship at school functions and to serve as a performing group representing the high school throughout the community, state and nation.
Students are exposed to teaching, practice and performance opportunities that result in the development of responsibility and self-respect that encourage honest effort in striving for excellence. These opportunities also develop character, teamwork and pride in quality performance and physical fitness by emphasizing the maintenance of high standards.

Lindsay Scroggins has been Drill Team Director and dance teacher since 2017. Lindsay is a graduate of TCU and a former Kilgore Rangerette. She and her husband, Kent, have two children.

Lindsay Hamer has been a teacher at Byron for 2 years. She teaches Algebra 1 and Dance 1. This will be her first year as the Assistant Director of the Dazzlers. She graduated from the University of North Texas.
